Ever wonder why the spiders body is shaped like a figure eight? The eight on it's side is the symbol of infinity. To people with spider medicine this means infinite possibilities for creation.

Spiders eight legs also have meanings. The four winds of change and the four directions on the medicine wheel. 

For me my Spider is constantly weaving. Sometimes she weaves a web of illusion of the physical realm that I get caught in. The challenge she hands me is to see beyond it and reach.

Other times the silken web is stronger still and it becomes a web of fate. Which way will I turn at this to find the answers? In the mire of my life of all things true for me and thy Spider I only know one way. It is to not fight her web but rather plot a slow deliberate course. For I refuse to be consumed with either fear or regret for having not tried.

Lastly, Spider female energy is probably where I get my sometimes creative side. She asks me to create. How am I doing you be the judge? Your here aren't you?

What twist of fate she spins?

Where is it she's taking me?

When will it begin?

Does she want my soul?

Will I surrender thine?

How will I emerge?

When will be the time?

Knowing not the answers

Of all I'm yet to learn

Maybe here I'll stay awhile

To question her in turn.
