You might find it interesting to know that although all my other totems came easily to me... this one took the longest to define.  Maybe he was passing unseen to me for a time. I know it is an aspect of me I revel in.

You will find me many times trying to give back to others from the experiences I have had. I try to listen with not only my head but also my heart to others plights. What that means is... a lot of times my head knows the answer but tempering the heart takes a genuine care for the human condition.

Of all the gifts of the Wolf by far one of the greatest he bestows upon my spirit is the sense of family and the protection of it. Don't think for one instant that family is the ones you share blood with either. For I would fight to the death for many a friend I  call family as well.

Many times on this life walk I have entered the dreamtime in fear of what I would find. It wasn't until I was given the Wolf medicine that I was prepared to do battle. He protects me from the unknown I have yet to face. He also helps me when light breaks and I am staring it down in the aftermath.

My kinship to Wolf is strong. He allows me to walk while encouraging me to run, to not be afraid of the winds of change but rather embrace them. For in that change I may find yet another challenge.

Many wonder about the death and rebirth aspect of Wolf. All I can say is with him as my protector I am not afraid. I know in my final hour he will be there if I need him.

To what he's asking of you

  Are you fighting the mirror?
